Organize PhonicsQ for Spelling

The PhonicsQ posters are organized alphabetically because reading is a visual act.

For spelling, the PhonicsQ individual cards can be arranged in an auditory organization. Once the picture cue has been taught and the sound being represented has been isolated, the student can group all of those that represent one sound.

After having done this, the student will discover for themself the repertoire of spellings that represent each sound.

These images become a powerful tool and link for the teacher when instructing spelling and spelling patterns. This spelling strategy is helpful for those with spelling problems.
