PhonicsQ
is an engaging visual system that consists of
picture cues in three different formats effective
in a variety of learning situations. It is designed
to help students link the phonemes of oral language
and the graphemes of written language to decode,
encode and pronounce new words. This system,
which was developed with students in a resource
room, is unique in that it provides a single
picture a a cueing device for a particular sound.

| The PhonicsQ
system works because teachers can provide
a consistent cue with a minimal number of
words, students can learn to cue themselves
with a picture and then work independently,
and it supports all reading programs and
approaches. |
