PhonicsQ - The Complete Cueing System provides students a dynamic and fun way to learn the phonic elements and then use field-tested pictures in the form of phonics flash and wall cards, blackline masters/student cueing sheets and phonics playing cards to enhance and improve reading, spelling and pronunciation skills. This visual cueing system includes picture cues for the sounds of the alphabet letters, consonant and vowel combinations, vowel-r pattern, etc.  PhonicsQ is designed to be equally effective with children and adults and with beginning readers, students with learning disabilties and English language learners. PhonicsQ is used effectively in the classroom, clinic and tutoring setting and at home.

  • A single picture is used as a cueing device for a particular letter/s and sound combination.
  • Phonics sounds are emphasized - not letter names or text.
  • The visual phonics cues are organized to supplement all reading, spelling and pronunciation programs.
  • The system is open-ended, flexible, easy to learn and effective for students of all ages.
  • PhonicsQ materials provide both a school-wide approach and connection between home and school.
  • Once learned, students can use the system independently.
